Clean Mud

Materials Needed:
  • 2-ply toilet paper
  • bar of Ivory soap
  • old cheese grater
  • plastic tub
  • 6 cups warm water

Sunburns Hurt
  1. Unravel about 1 ½ rolls of toilet paper.
  2. Tear the toilet paper into 2”-3” square pieces.
  3. Put all of the pieces in a plastic tub.
  4. Grate half of small bar of Ivory soap into the tub.
  5. Slowly add about 6 cups of warm water (1 cup at a time) while mixing by hand until creamy. This should take about 15 minutes.
  6. Your toddler can play with this “mud” just like outdoor mud.
  7. Store the mud at room temperature in a covered container. Clean mud lasts for several weeks.
