Leaf Rubbings

Summer is here and plants are growing! Today is the perfect time to encourage your child’s natural curiosity about the natural world by doing a leaf rubbing! Talk with your child about all the different shapes and colors leaves come in! Set leaves (vein side up) on a smooth surface.   Cover the leaf with a sheet of paper.
