Looking for a simple way to practice counting? Here’s a game that does just that, while also developing vocabulary, motor skills, and the concept of taking turns!

Using the marker, write the numbers one through ten inside the bottom of each slot of the egg carton. Have each player choose a pom pom. Take turns tossing the pom poms into the egg carton and read the number it lands in. Once each player has had a turn, have your child figure out who got the highest number.

Another way to play is to have your child toss a pom pom into the carton and count to whatever number they land in. You can also have them count out their number in pom poms for a visual aid.
