- Find out the best time and the best way of contacting your child’s provider or teacher
- Be as respectful of their time as you would have them be of yours
- Attend any family events and parent-teacher conferences that you can
- Ask questions
- Be honest
- Don’t wait until something escalates to talk about it
- Be responsive to their communications
